Our potatoes, zucchinis, cucumbers and carrots are doing great!
The zucchinis will soon start flowering, they have grown a lot. The weather also couldn’t be better for them; we’ve had heavy rain falls last week and this week, we’ve had many hot sunny days.
Our watermelons, unfortunately, are not doing so well. We planted ten plants, but only three are really thriving. We have a family of voles that seems to love our garden and it killed the other seven plants. We’ll tell you more about those bullies in a future update!
But we’re not giving up! Here you can see we’re preparing the soil for future planting.
Next year, we’ll plant our fruits and vegetables in raised beds, so it will be harder for animals to steal our harvest!
